Wakatobi a destination where you can dive the world's most pristine reefs and experience remoteness from everyday life in total comfort. Situated on a beautiful tropical island in the remote and peaceful Wakatobi archipelago in the Banda Sea, Wakatobi offers what many consider to be the best reef diving in the world.

Blessed with a house reef where you can begin your dive only 20m (60 feet) from the dive center, Wakatobi is often described as a live aboard with a built-in beach! In addition to the spectacular house reef, there are several dozens of easily accessible dive sites offering incredible marine life diversity, color and natural splendor.

White sand stretching along the coast. Waving palm trees wind swept beach. When the sea receded, the natural beauty of the underwater world increasingly seductive. Flirt fish between coral reefs. The beauty of it can be seen with the naked eye enough. Wakatobi, it was there, nan heavenly natural charm.

Wakatobi is a name derived from the largest island of the short-fragrant smell, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko located in the southeast of Sulawesi. In the past, people call in Tukang Besi Islands. Area of 1.39 million hectares was later used as marine national park in 1996. The area had also become certified as Wakatobi in 2004.

Wakatobi Islands National Park (TNKW) indeed is the second largest marine park after the National Park Sea Paradise Bay in Papua. In these islands, many people admire the charm of Coral reef Kaledupa which is the widest and longest in Indonesia. TNKW is located in the Coral Triangle region World.

Wakatobi Islands has 25 clusters of coral reefs. Coral reefs are scattered among the existing 37 islands. In these islands, only six are inhabited islands. While only 11 islands have a name. The remaining 31 islands were not named and has not managed. The tourists who come, generally do activities diving, snorkeling, swimming, camping and cultural tourism.

Wakatobi natural beauty is derived from natural resource wealth. Ecological studies conducted The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in 2003 found 396 species of coral reef rock composer. In the region, as many as 590 species of fish found to breed.
